"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."

The maps are incomplete.
Beyond the borders of Federation space lie countless stars that have never been charted, civilizations that have never been encountered, and mysteries that have waited centuries—or millennia—to be discovered.
The USS Eventide was built for a single purpose... to go there.
Commissioned during the Federation's first great age of exploration, Eventide is not a warship searching for enemies or a patrol vessel guarding established frontiers. She is an expeditionary vessel, carrying a crew of Starfleet officers, scientists, scholars, and civilian specialists into regions where no Federation ship has ever traveled. Every mission presents new questions, new discoveries, and the possibility of finding something no one has seen before.
Life aboard Eventide is driven by curiosity. One week the crew may be excavating the ruins of a civilization lost to history; the next they may be establishing first contact with a species unlike any previously encountered or investigating a phenomenon that challenges everything they thought they knew about the universe. The answers are rarely simple, and the greatest challenges often come not from hostile forces, but from the mysteries themselves.

Percy grinned. "Through personal experience, yes. However, that hardly lends itself to command. I find I must surround myself with people I can trust to solve the more technical issues when it comes to starships, and those are even further afield from simple solutions."
He watched the Denobulan work and still felt a sense of calm around the officer. Despite his messy coif of hair, the Lieutenant seemed efficient in his work and easy to interact with.
'Hmm,' the Denobulan hummed absently as he half-listened to the answer, engrossed in the technical readouts the PADD as he was. 'It's…

Mission: Escape Velocity

The final round of propulsion diagnostics has consumed almost all of Percy's morning, which was impressive when one considers that the warp engines were completely static and that Percy himself had simply assumed an observer role.
Commander Kikuchi and his team of engineers had examined and calibrated just about every subsystem throughout Main Engineering. Percy was convinced there hadn't been one component of the engines they hadn't laid their hands upon.
Now into the early hours of the afternoon, Percy had found himself back aboard Cochrane Shipyards and enjoyed a solitary lunch in the vast commissary before wandering down to…

Mission: Outward Trajectory
Posted on Tue Sep 29th, 2026 @ 7:51am by Captain Percival "Percy" Tapper & Commander Theya Zh'Líran
Three days out from Alpha Centauri, Percy had decided to start taking the long way through the ship.
There was little reason for it beyond the pleasure of seeing Eventide underway. At Cochrane, she always seemed to partly belong to the shipyard: surrounded by scaffolding, work crews, temporary power feeds and crazy noise of components being assembled. Out here in the black, she was quieter. The new engines seemed to sing, passing on a low vibration that could be felt in the decks, though almost too deep to hear, and every so often the ship made one of those small…

Mission: Outward Trajectory
Posted on Thu Sep 24th, 2026 @ 11:38am by Captain Percival "Percy" Tapper
For eleven days, the USS Iphigenia had been putting its proverbial foot over the line and into the Luujak nebula for short periods of time. It had begun with a three-minute foray that knocked-out sensors and blew several power relays. Several days later, she had managed a thirteen-minute penetration of the volatile nebula--just long enough for their modified sensors to perform a spectral energy discharge and highlighting the signal's path. For all those thirteen minutes were worth, it still had cost them a half-dozen injuries and moderate damage to nearly every system.
Fourteen separate incursions into the Luujak had brought…

Mission: Outward Trajectory
Posted on Mon Sep 21st, 2026 @ 8:07pm by Lieutenant Tyler Hunt
The door to engineering opened as Lieutenant Hunt entered the busy room. Enlisted personnel and a few officers moved around the room, preparing the Eventide for the eventual launch. Little did they know that launch date was happening much sooner than expected. "Everyone gather around," he shouted.
A couple of the personnel turned their attention to the shouting officer, then quickly got the attention of the others who missed him shout. Moving in closer, the enlisted staff surrounded him along with three Ensigns. The officers moved up to the front of the crowd.
Now that everyone was within earshot, Tyler…
